Tender Is The Flesh

Author: Agustina Bazterrica

Mood: Dark. Reflective.

Summary: A worldwide plague infects all animals on the earth, forcing humanity to kill the animals. But disease doesn’t stop mankind’s insatiable need for meat. And man will go to great lengths to get it. Follow the tale of Marcos, who works in the factory that produces the only meat safe for consumption: human.

Review: Fantastic. Beautiful. Devastating. Reminded me why I’m vegetarian. This book has serious 1984/Animal Farm vibes.

My Rating: 5 Stars

Beverage Pairing: Too dark for suggesting a Bloody Mary?
