Summary: Esther and Jo were raised to believe in the supernatural— their family have collected and protected magical books for generations. But the books can be dangerous too: their father dies reading one of these books. Years later, the two sisters find themselves on the run from mysterious forces who will stop at nothing to collect the books— and perhaps the sisters, themselves.

Review: Loved this book. Great world-building. The magic made sense. The sisters had their own unique personalities shining through the page and I came to care for all the main characters of this book.

My Rating: 4.5 Stars! TBF, this book came at the right time with the right vibe.
